Dr. Wes Strickler's immaculate Supermarine Seafire Mk. XV (also known as the "hooked Spitfire"), N503PR (PR503), was the winner of an EAA Silver Wrench award. Restored by Jim Cooper, it made its first flight since 1950 less than a month before AirVenture 2010.
